No vaccination is compulsory to enter Vietnam. However, we recommend you to be up to date with your routine vaccines and to get the following if you haven’t yet:

• Hepatitis A
• Hepatitis B
• Typhoid
• Rabies
• Yellow fever

Malaria is not an issue in Vietnam. Malaria does not develop where the land is cultivated, and forced to say it is hard to find an uncultivated piece of land in Vietnam. Yet, few cases of dengue fever have been declared so better come with a good mosquito repellent and take preventive measures to limit mosquito bites.
